Today we have formally submitted our appeal to court and have provided all evidences we have on hand to retain Gold4Fun domain. And hereby we also want to warn everyone out there who holds a domain that contains the term "RS" in it, make your "B" plans, because Jagex is probably contemplating it!

Gold4FUN.com, a new place where we are going to offer more astonishing upgraded RS services and extended Giveaways, is now all set for launch, and will soon be put up online, the entire Gold4Fun database and order history will be transfered onto Gold4Fun.com safely, then Gold4Fun.com domain will also be pointed to Gold4Fun.com, everything will be operating exactly the same as it is operating now, nothing will be changed except for a domain switch.

Oh, we actually do have some exciting changes, we will have greater RS deals and more giveaways on Gold4Fun.com, the first giveaway will be held on the opening day of Gold4Fun, we are planning to give out at least 5,000M Free Gold to the community, no, we didn't miss type a single extra zero to it, it is five thousand million gold that we are going to offer to create buzz for Gold4Fun.com, and it's coming up soon! Gold4Fun.COM Domain Hijacked by Jagex!

Dear customers,

Today we are sad to announce that the Gold4Fun domain has been hijacked by Jagex and is most likely going to be replaced with Gold4Fun.com. We felt to make the whole procedural history known to everyone.

Over last few months we have been dealing with our legal advisor in US in regards to the dispute filed by Jagex at WIPO, with the intention to hijack Gold4Fun domain, their only contention is that the term "Gold4Fun" is "Identical or confusingly similar" to their registered trade mark RUNESCAPE, so they want Gold4Fun to be transferred to their possession. As we all know, they cannot monopolize the use of generic terms and common words in domain names. Further, generic words or common terms cannot give rise to trade mark rights. However, somehow the Panel stands on their side has fulfilled their attempts to hijack Gold4Fun domain.

Why would they do this? Because in the aim to feed their greedy appetite for revenue they want players to spend as much of their life time grinding in game, according to Jagex's contention, the company's "turnover over the period 2002 - 2010 was approximately 171 million pounds", and they are still looking for more by forcing us to spend hours over hours of our life time at our computers repeating their pre-made gaming procedures over and over again boringly, disregarding players’ gaming experience and their human rights of playing the game more flexibly and enjoyably, from the Report Card Contest and Father’s Day event we hosted this May and June (which can be found here and here), thousands of players and their parents joined in the events and over 90% of them have shown great substantial concerns about the game occupying too much of their child’s daily time, as a result they are always “glued to the computer”, which is definitely negative influence to their school performance, social activities, and even their future career!

Jagex’s money conscious intentions can always be seen in big companies, maybe they should show some respect for all the Gold and Stuff we spend time in game gaining instead of alleging it all belongs to their property, maybe they should never have taken away Free Trade and restricted the freedom of in game trades. Here at Gold4Fun we're only offering services that are ancillary and complimentary to the game, and most importantly, we help players enjoy the most fun part of the game whilst save a tremendous amount of their life time from grinding monotonously in repeated game procedures and tasks, of which the time should be spent on studies, homeworks, family and friends gatherings, or anything else in real life, just like the Gold4Fun slogan says: have fun in game, save time for life.
